A MODERATE 5.0-magnitude seism struck soured Indonesia’s Sulawesi island overnight, the US Geological Survey said.
The quake impact 178km south of the top Manado and was 55km deep, the USGS said.
There were no unmediated reports of alteration and the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre had not issued a wave warning.
Indonesia was the commonwealth poorest impact by the quake-triggered continent wave in Dec 2004 that killed 168,000 grouping in the country’s Aceh province.
